The solar panel can be staked into the ground or mounted to a wall. The solar panel charges the battery pack, allowing the pump to run on fully-charged solar battery in cloudy conditions or at nighttime. A dry protection pump feature ensures that the pump shuts down if water runs low to prevent damage.
